Green Bird

Each bird goes through a process. I cut the parts and sew and stuff - then I pin the parts together to get a feel for the bird's personality. I have lots of beads and fibers that I can add to a bird body and often try out parts before deciding what will work best.

This bird features polymer clay buttons created by my sister. I think they go well with the patterned fabric.

Parrot #2

This parrot gets his color from fabric printed in a marbled design. The wings and tail are ruched to give them some extra flair.
